When the batch file is finished running, Windows 98 normally leaves the DOS window open and obliges you to close it manually.

To automatically close the window, create a shortcut to the batch file by right-clicking the file and select "Create Shortcut" from the dropdown menu.

Next, locate the shortcut (also known as a PIF file), right-click it and select "Properties" from the drop-down menu (Tip: You can also rename the shortcut using the "Rename" option in this drop-down menu, too).

Now, open "Properties", click the "Programs" tab, select the box that says "Close on exit", click "OK" and you're done!

Running the batch file via this shortcut should allow the DOS window to now close automatically after ePrompter starts running.
